Spending this summer coding for GNOME
This blog has not seen a lot of activity since last year. I don't know if it is because I don't want to write anything or because I am simply busy with studies and other stuff.
For the thrid time I am participating to the Google Summer of Code and this year I will be coding for GNOME during the whole summer. If you already know me, you know that I am contributing to java-gnome since 2009. So this summer I will be able to work full time on improving the Java bindings for GNOME by rewriting the code generator so it can use GObject Introspection data. Several contributors of java-gnome have discussed about this for some times and now it is time to code.
I would like to thank the people from the SoC team of GNOME for choosing my project for this GSoC, Serkan Kaba (@serkankaba) for mentoring me and Andrew Cowie (@afcowie) for his support to this project and for maintaining java-gnome for several years.
